Is there a solution for baldness?
Baldness is the last stage in the development of alopecia.
What is alopecia?
Alopecia, from the Greek alopekía - "hair loss" - corresponds to the acceleration of hair loss, or body hair, and is mainly due to an excess of male hormones, also called androgenic alopecia.
It can be hereditary or genetic (in 90% of cases). It is, in both cases, caused by dihydrotestosterone - or DHT, which is a sub-molecule of testosterone. DHT sticks to the hair follicles and causes them to shrink over time. This will therefore cause a thinning of the size of the hair until it even disappears.
There are all types of products on the market, offered as a solution to alopecia. Researchers from the National University of Yokohama in Japan have even claimed to have succeeded in creating HFG, hair follicle germs, thanks to dimethylpolysiloxane, a chemical that McDonald's uses to make French fries.
It is up to us, the consumer, to decide what to do. After understanding the reason for baldness, we realize that avoiding it is difficult, if not impossible.
It is for this reason that hair transplantation is the best if not the only possible solution against alopecia or baldness.
