Hair transplant with the DHI technique
The DHI technique: hair implants without incisions.
The DHI method is an evolution of the FUE technique.
The DHI technique allows implantation of the donor area without incisions or scars, with a very natural rendering. This hair transplant technique makes it possible to recreate more homogeneous areas and hair lines, particularly in the frontal area. This technique is limited to 2500 grafts per session.
How is the intervention going?
It is a procedure under local anesthesia, gentle, non-invasive and painless. The grafts are harvested from the donor area at the back of the head using a rotary punch. The grafts are then inserted in the CHOI pen. It is an injector pen made up of a needle with a bevelled end allowing the insertion of the hair follicles, which allows to obtain a natural and perfect result. We then gently implant the grafts on the bald area.
Then...
- The donor area may show some postoperative redness, but it will completely subside in the weeks following the operation. - The first regrowth will take place from 3 to 4 months after the transplant. Two weeks after the transplant the transplanted hair will start to fall out, this is a natural process. They will fall partially or totally.
The first results:
You have to be patient because it will take nearly 12 months to achieve the final result. From 3 months: you will observe the first cycle of regrowth. Your hair will be very fine at first and then thicken over the months. From 6 months: the density will be more visible. And from the 12 months the first expected results will appear.
