The DHI method is an evolution of the traditional FUE (Follicular unit extraction) hair technique.

How does the intervention work in the case of the DHI technique?

 

It is an intervention that is performed under local anesthesia. The DHI method is non-invasive and painless The second step consists of removing the grafts: The grafts are harvested from the donor area at the back of the head using a rotary punch. The grafts are then placed in the CHOI pen. It is an injector pen made up of a needle with a bevelled end allowing the insertion of the follicles. But what happens after the transplant?

 

You may have some redness in the donor area, but this will disappear in the week following the operation.

The crusts that will have formed during the transplants will begin to fall gradually and you will find a completely smooth skull within 10 to 15 days postoperatively.

The transplanted hair may fall out, all or part of it, but don't panic! These are old hair and they will be replaced by the new ones, during the regrowth which will begin after the 3rd or even 4th month after the transplant.

You will start to see results after the 6th month, or you will be able to see 50% of the regrowth of your new hair.
