FUE hair transplant with the Saphir tip
We use two techniques of hair transplantation, which are the proven ones and follow the studies and the technologies which are more and more advanced.
Among these techniques, the FUE technique continues to develop and innovations concerning the material to be used during the intervention continue. It is the Sapphire tip that we now use when performing the FUE transplant.
How does Saphir FUE work?
The Sapphire tip is aptly named because it is indeed made of smooth Sapphire crystals as the name suggests, which replaces the steel blades used to open channels on the patient's skull. As with DHI, this technique allows for a lower scab formation, which will accelerate and improve the postoperative healing process, and leave no visible scars.
The difference between a classic FUE and a Saphir FUE concerns the opening of the micro-channels.
FUE performed with Sapphire blades is a method considered to be the advanced version of the FUE technique. The FUE technique uses steel blades to create incisions in the recipient area. During the operation, after a few hundred incisions, these steel blades must be replaced with new ones. This is because a problem of this type will not be encountered with Sapphire FUE blades because they are smoother and sharper.
In addition, during traditional FUE procedures, steel blades are used to open the U-shaped channels. While during a Sapphire hair transplant, the channels are opened in a V-shape. Finally the opening in U shape creates larger canals which cause more bleeding and less density. Thus the Saphir blades allow the channels to open as well as possible.
How does the FUE Saphir technique work?
Sapphire leaves have a smooth surface with anti-bacterial properties and an incredibly precise design, thus providing greater durability. The risk of complications or cases of tissue failure will be greatly reduced. This intervention allows to have a very natural result.
